Females in custody for possession of cannabis and ammunition
About 10:00h. yesterday, ranks of the Guyana Police Force, acting on information received, searched a house at Powis Street, East La Penitence and found fifty-one kilograms of suspected cannabis, along with a .38 revolver with two matching rounds.
A female is in custody assisting with the investigation.
Additionally, about 23:00h. last night, ranks of the Guyana Police Force, acting on information received, searched a house at Lamaha Place, South Ruimveldt and found 69 rounds of live ammunition.
Another female is in custody assisting with the investigation.
