Lancaster and McArthur will participate in both courses, while Langhorne will participate in the FIFA Futuro III Course for Referee Instructors and Referee Fitness Instructors.
The annual courses seek to build capacity of the respective referee instructors and assessors by exposing them to the latest scientific methods and practices for instructing, teaching and assessing and will consist of both theoretical and practical sessions. It is intended to act as a Trainer-of-Trainer course.
The sessions will address, among other things, the revised FIFA Laws of the Game and their respective interpretation and be facilitated by two FIFA personnel – Peter Prendergast, FIFA Regional Development Officer/Technical Instructor and the FIFA Fitness Instructor, Allan Morgan Browne.
The respective personnel departed for the course on Sunday, and upon their return, are expected to coordinate capacity building sessions for respective national instructors and assessors.
