Double suicide rocks Crabwood Creek

One week after consuming a poisonous substance with her mother, a 17-year-old girl on Friday, September 30, 2016, has succumbed.

17-year-old Diana Sawh along with her 55-year-old mother, Madojri Sawh of Crabwood Creek, Upper Corentyne Berbice consumed an unknown amount of poisonous substance on Thursday, September 22, 2016.

While the mother succumbed on Friday, September 23, 2016, it was only yesterday that Diana succumbed.

It is alleged that the women were having family related problems.

The incident has left many in a state of shock and despair.
