Five arrested following guns & drugs find at popular wash bay and bar

Five persons were arrested this morning after the police in ‘A’ Division swooped down on a sports bar at West Ruimveldt, Georgetown and found two guns and a quantity of marijuana.
According to one police source, a woman is among those arrested during the raid at the Ballaz Wash Bay and Bar located at West Ruimveldt, Georgetown.
It was also noted that one of the males is known to the police as he was fingered in a shooting some time back during Street Football game.
The police during the operation were able to recover one .38 revolver with six live rounds, one air gun and a quantity of marijuana.
The raid took place at approximately 01:20 hrs on Friday.
Investigations are ongoing.
