Man arrested in Cuyuni with unlicensed firearm and matching rounds
A 35-year- old male of Industrial Area, Mackenzie, Linden, was yesterday arrested in Cuyuni by ranks of the of the Guyana Police Force with an unlicensed point 32 pistol with five matching rounds.
According to the police, the suspect who is wanted for questioning in connection with a report of robbery under arms, was seen by the police about 09:00hrs on Tuesday in “ Cumo Cumo”, Cuyuni/Mazaruni.
He was promptly arrested and searched, when the firearm and ammunition were found in his possession.
