Teen on the run after raping 6-year-old

The parents and relatives of a six-year-old girl along with some members of the Sophia Community are hunting for a teenager who was found having sex with the child over the weekend.

News Room has learned that the teenager who is known to persons from the community went into hiding immediately after the incident occurred.

Sources indicated that the mother of the child walked into a room and found the teenager to be in a compromising position with her daughter. Upon noticing the woman, he fled and the child began crying.

It was revealed that the child was not found to be bleeding at the time which led detectives to suggest that the teenager was interfering with her for some time now.

The police are investigating the matter.
