The Police are hunting suspects in a multimillion dollar robbery of an auto dealer’s office in Kingston, Georgetown even as suspicion abounds regarding the circumstances surrounding the robbery.

Several employees from the Yokohama Trading were questioned by the police in relation to the robbery, which took place at their head office in Kingston on Monday.

News Room was informed that within seconds of the door to the establishment being opening on Monday, men armed with guns barged into the premises and reportedly robbed the establishment of $15M.

Police sources have confirmed that the investigation is receiving special attention as the circumstances surrounding the ordeal seems suspicious. It was noted that the question of how the gunmen became aware of information that the business holds large sums of money at that time in the morning.

This has since prompted the police to pay even closer attention to those who are working with the company.

However, investigators are unable to access footage of the ordeal since the establishment, despite dealing with millions of dollars on a daily basis, does not have any security camera on the exterior or interior of the building.

The police are yet to arrest any suspect in relation to the matter.

Efforts to secure a comment from to the local manager of the establishment were unsuccessful.

The owner of the business who resides outside of Guyana reportedly came into the country this morning to get first-hand information on the incident.
