A resident of Liliendaal, East Coast Demerara was on Sunday night shot and robbed of his motor cycle and $3,000.00, by two males; one of whom was armed with a handgun in ‘B’ Field, Sophia.
According to a police report, at about 21:50 hrs, the victim was moving off with his motor cycle from his girlfriend’s home in ‘B’ Field Sophia when the bandits pounced and relieved him of his property and escaped but not before shooting him on his left foot.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was treated and sent away.
No arrests have been made thus far.
