Venezuelan national, Henry Mendonca was this morning stabbed by a Guyanese National at Eteringbang Landing.
According to a police report, the two who both resides in Venezuela came to Guyana last night and were drinking at Eteringbang Landing, when they had a misunderstanding at about 01:00hrs on Saturday.
It was during the argument that the Guyanese broke a bottle and stabbed Mendonca twice to his abdomen.
He was taken to San Martin Hospital in Venezuela where he was pronounced Dead on arrival.
The suspect was taken into custody.
Investigations are in progress.
