East Ruimveldt businessman arrested with cannabis in Bartica boat

A 32-year-businessman from East Ruimveldt was on Thursday morning arrested with 369 grams of cannabis, in a water pump he had in his possession, whilst on board a speed boat at Bartica.

Police ranks acting up information swooped down on the suspect who was about to depart the Bartica Stelling in a speed boat and conducted a search in his person and belongings, during which the illegal substance was found hidden in a water pump. He was arrested, charged and appeared

He was arrested, charged and appeared before his worship Delon Best at the Bartica Magistrate’s Court today where he pleaded not guilty and was remanded , the Case postponed to December 01, 2016 for trial.
