Police hunting for suspects who robbed Diamond Fire Station
The Guyana Police Force says it is perusing all leads to apprehend and prosecute the perpetrators who invaded the Diamond Fire Station on Thursday, December 23, 2016.
On Friday, the Force said no valuables were taken from the victims during the incident and investigators have since obtained statements and are working to solve the crime.
According to reports, the driver of a vehicle used to transport two men to the Diamond Fire Station on Thursday was caught, however, the suspects managed to escape.
It was noted that three men attempted to commit a robbery at the Fire Station when two firemen dressed in plainclothes were about to open the gate to the premises.
