One hospitalised following Eccles Crash

A man who is thus far unidentified has been rushed to the Diamond Hospital, East Bank Demerara, following an accident at Eccles also on the East Bank Demerara on the evening of Wednesday, January 04, 2017.

According to sources, the accident including two vehicles took place a short moment ago.

The News Room was reliably informed that one of the drivers ran away from the scene after he was tested and found to be above the legal limit of alcohol consumption.

The impact has caused one of the vehicles to end up in the trench while the other is still on the roadway.

The police are presently on the scene conducting their investigations while Doctors at the Diamond Hospital are providing medical attention to the person who was rushed there.
