E-Networks Fitness Challenge set for March 5

Muscles, skills and endurance will be on show on March 5 when Guyana Fitness Games stages the third annual E-Networks Fitness Challenge at the National Park Tarmac.

Top male and female athletes, bodybuilders and fitness fanatics will test their fortitude on what is expected to be a day when only the fittest will prevail.

Set to start at 11:00h, the activity will once again feature rivalry in the Male and Female segments, as well as the Team (Gym) competition. According to information reaching News Room, the organisers are currently in the process of registering athletes and finalising partnerships with potential corporate partners.

In the Male category last year, Dillon Mahadeo won overall, with Carlos Rodrigues finishing second and Mariano Jeffrey third, while in the Female competition, Candace Lynch was the winner, with Semonica Duke and Nessa Bhagwandin second and third respectively.

The top Team (Gym) in 2016 was Life Gym, while Elite Systems of Berbice took second and Crossfit 592 third.
