(Ministry of Education) – Contrary to reports in sections of the Media AnSaMcAl, will be very much involved in the 2017 Mashramani activities but at a different level.
In fact, while the company is not sponsoring a National Carib Soca Monarch competition this year, the company has expended more than $90M over the past 10 years on that competition. This year, having refocused its involvement, the company is offering Guyanese soca music lovers some hot Soca entertainment at the international level through another promotion that is not competition based.
Closer to the major Mashramani activities season the company will make public what the contents and format of its three days of activities will be, but it is safe to say that a three-day mega soca fete is planned. The Mash Secretariat can confirm that the company has secured the National park for an event titled ‘Stage 5’ that will be staged from February 20-22.
The Mashramani Coordinating committee has been informed that under the Stag Beer Brand the National Park will come alive as part of the mega distribution company’s contribution to making Mashramani 2017 grand.
