Ming, Jeffrey impress on final day

Guyanese drivers Calvin Ming and Kristian Jeffrey enjoyed another successful outing on Sunday in their first event of the year. Ming, an F4 driver, competed in the FIA NACAM F4 Series in Mexico, while Jeffrey, a former Caribbean motor-racing champion, participated in the Suzuki Challenge Series SR3 in Barbados.

Ming followed his first day win on Saturday at the spanking new Merida circuit with another win on Sunday, while Jeffrey chalked up two wins and a seventh place finish on the final day at the Bushy Park Race Track. On Saturday, Jeffrey had two victories and a third place finish. For his outstanding effort, Jeffrey was crowned Suzuki Challenge Series SR3 Winter Cup champion.
