15-yr-old among TIP victims rescued

A fifteen-year-old female was on Friday among two Trafficked victims who were rescued by the police in Essequibo. The News Room has been reliably informed that the other woman is twenty-four years old.

It was disclosed that persons notified the police ranks about the presence of the two young ladies who were being used for financial gains by the businessman and his friend.

Both victims are presently being kept at a safe house even as the police continue their investigations into the matter.
