UPDATE: Body of Kenneth Joseph Recovered

The Police and rescuers have been able to recover the remains of 52-year-old Kenneth Joseph whose body disappeared in the Pomeroon River following a river mishap on Sunday (February 26, 2017).

The News Room has been able to confirm that Joseph’s body was recovered around noon today (Monday, February 27, 2017) after a relentless search by authorities and friends and family members of the deceased.

On Sunday night at approximately 20:00hrs, the boat in which Joseph and another man were travelling along the Pomeroon River collided with a 4 feet boat, driven by a 24-year-old.

The 24-year-old man remains in custody even as the Maritime Administration Department and the relevant agencies are continuing their investigations.

The body of the man is currently at the Suddie Hospital Morgue awaiting a post mortem.
