Dr. Roger Luncheon among others arrested in relation to Pradoville 2 probe

Former Cabinet Secretary, Dr. Roger Luncheon along with others associated with the Peoples’ Progressive Party (PPP) for the misappropriation of funds and conspiracy, in relation to the Pradoville 2 probe.

“I don’t need to again repeat my total innocence and unawareness of the basis for this charge to be arrested,” Dr. Luncheon said as he was being escorted out of the Opposition Leader’s Office today (Tuesday, March 07, 2017).

He added that the party’s members are fully supportive and are cooperating with the Special Organised Crime Unit (SOCU) in relation to the investigation.

According to reports, the daughter of former President, Lisaveta Ramotar was also arrested earlier.

Previously it was noted that the members of the opposition are needed for questioning, to which they communicated that they will be available at the Opposition Leader’s Office.
