Alleged Roger Khan associate remanded for possession high-powered weapons

The police today (Tuesday, March 14, 2017) marched a businessman up the court steps after he was found to be in illegal possession of two firearms.

Meten-Meer- Zorg businessman, Christopher Small was remanded to prison for being in possession of an AK-47 rifle and an M-70 rifle.

The man was not required to plea to the indictable charge.

He appeared before Magistrate, Rochelle Liverpool at the Leonora Magistrate’s Court.

The items were found at the man’s home last week Thursday (March 09, 2017) after the police carried out an operation. The ranks were at the time acting on information received from members of the public.

Christopher Small is allegedly a known associate of former Drug King Pin, Shaheed “Roger” Khan.

The man operates a restaurant and a tint shop in the lower flat while he resides in the upper flat. The weapons were found under a stove in the residential part of the building.

He is to return to court on April 10, 2017.
