A Mercedes-Benz: PLL6429 on Tuesday afternoon (March 14, 2017) burst into flames on the Rupert Craig Highway.
When the News Room arrived at the scene, firefighters had already extinguished the blaze.
The driver/owner of the vehicle was not at the scene.
It appears as though the vehicle was abandoned after it burst into flames since no one at the scene, including the firefighters, could have related who the driver of the vehicle was.
From all appearance, however, the fire started in the bonnet of the vehicle. It is suspected that the vehicle might have developed mechanical issues.
