BREAKING NEWS: House occupied by Government Minister gutted by fire

A house which is occupied by Minister with responsibility for Housing, Valerie Adams-Patterson in the town of Linden, was earlier this evening (Saturday, April 01, 2017) gutted by fire.

This was confirmed by the Minister and sources at the Guyana Fire Service (GFS).

Minister Patterson said the damage is extensive to the concrete and wooden structure. She added that the lower flat if the building where the fire is suspected to have started, is now uninhabitable.

According to the information reaching the News Room, no one was injured as a result of the fire.

The house is owned by the Minister’s son.
