Pakistan defeated West Indies by seven wickets to seal a 3-1 series win in the four-match T20 series in Trinidad on Sunday. Chasing 125, Pakistan reached the target with exactly one over to spare.
Opener Ahmed Shehzad led the way with 53 (45 balls; 6x4s, 1×6); Babar Azam stroked 38 and Kamran Akmal got 20. Bowling for West Indies, Kesrick Williams had 2-16.
Pakistan earlier limited West Indies to 124-8 after they won the toss and asked the hosts to bat first. The world champions struggled as only three batsmen got into double-figures.
Chadwick Walton topscored with 40 off 31 balls (4x6s); Carlos Brathwaite smashed 37 not out off 24 balls (2x4s, 2x6s), while Marlon Samuels struck two sixes in 22.
Hasan Ali bowled two maidens in his four over spell, which yielded just 12 runs and two wickets. Shadah Khan also had 2-16.
