Guyana Jaguars will miss four players this weekend for their clash with Windward Islands Volcanoes at Providence, as they have been called up as part of the West Indies Cricket Board’s President’s XI squad to face Pakistan.
Guyana Jaguars’ game will run from April 15-18, while three-day game, set for the Trelawny Multiplex in Florence Hall, Jamica, will start on April 15. Batsman Vishaul Singh, opener Shimron Hetmyer, all-rounder Raymon Reifer and fast bowler Keon Joseph are the Guyana Jaguars representatives among the 11 players called.
The squad reads: Shamarh Brooks (Captain), Vishaul Singh (Vice Captain), Rahkeem Cornwall, Jahmar Hamilton, Shimron Hetmyer, Kyle Hope, Damion Jacobs, Keon Joseph, Kieran Powell, Raymon Reifer and Kemar Roach.
The Team Management Unit comprises Graeme West (Head Coach), Dwain Gill (Team Operations Manager), Corey Collymore (Assistant Coach), Andre Coley (Assistant Coach), Khevyn Williams (Physiotherapist), Shayne Cooper (Strength & Conditioning Coordinator) and Dexter Augustus (Data Video Analyst).
The game is the only warm-up for Pakistan ahead of the three-match Test series, starting on April 21 in Jamaica.
