Guyana’s ace driver Kristian Jeffrey has described his weekend competing at Donington Park as “bittersweet” after a spin-off in Race Three on Saturday.
“A bit of Donington Park; it was a bittersweet weekend, ended my last race 3 p17. I was in a train with the leaders in 6th, and a car spun directly in front of me, causing myself to spin off track. However, driving from the back of the grid, we still showed top four pace,” Jeffrey said in a social media post.
Earlier, Jeffrey, the two-time Caribbean Group Four champion, qualified 11th out of 33 competitors. He placed seventh in Race One and 11th in Race Two.
