The police in ‘B’ Division are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an East Canje man who was found pinned under a tractor at a Ranch in New Forest, East Canje, Berbice.
The man identified as 64-year-old Hatim Khan of Lot 13 Adelphi, East Canje, Berbice, was discovered this afternoon (Tuesday, May 30, 2017).
Although information surrounding the incident is still sketchy, the News Room was told that the man left his home at about 8:00 this morning to go check up on the workers at a friend’s ranch at the Backdam in New Forest.
The News Room understands that it was at about 14:00 hours that the man was discovered pinned in the ranch by a tractor.
