The police in the Berbice River area are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man who was crushed by a giant caterpillar dump truck this afternoon (Monday, June 05, 2017).
The News Room was informed that Wesley Potier of Kwakwani Park Road ended up under the wheels of a giant Caterpillar dump truck at the Kururbuka Mines between Aroaima and Kwakwani.
Details of the incident are still sketchy, but the News Room was told that the unfortunate event might have taken place sometime between 14:00 and 15:00hrs.
