Guyana Police Force Statement

The Guyana Police Force is informing members of the general public that in order to facilitate the Sitting of the National Assembly, at Public Buildings, Brickdam, Georgetown the following roads will be closed to vehicular traffic as indicated.

Thursday June 14 and Friday June 15, 2017 from 11:00hrs

Ø  Croal & Cornhill Streets (No Entry South- Barriers from Cornhill to Water Streets)

Ø  Avenue of Republic & Regent Street Eastern Carriageway – (No Entry South)

Ø  Avenue of Republic & Croal Street (No Entry South both carriageway barriers)

Ø  Smyth Street & Brickdam (No Entry West)

Ø  Smyth & Hadfield Streets (No Entry West)

Ø  Manget Place & Hadfield Street (No Entry North)

Ø  Cross & Durban Streets (No Entry North)

Ø  Breda and Durban Streets (No Entry North)

Ø  Lombard & Leopold Streets (No Entry North)

Ø  High and Leopold Streets (No Entry North)

Ø  Water and Schumaker Streets (No Entry North)

Also please be advised that the relocation of the Route 43 Minibus Park is on High Street in the vicinity of Ashmin Supermarket and the Route 42 Minibus Park will be on Water Street in the vicinity of DDL Wharf.
