Improvised weapons used to kill murder accused found

Improvised weapons used to inflict several stab wounds on two inmates at the New Amsterdam Prison were found while the attackers were identified.

At around 15:00 hrs today (Wednesday, June 21, 2017) Neshan Jagmohan 27 years old and his brother Ramnarine Jagmohan, of Hampshire Squatting area were stabbed several times about their bodies as they were returning from Court.

Neshan died while receiving treatment at the New Amsterdam Public Hospital.

The attackers who are all on remand for murders, were identified as Dillon Boucher 25 of Haslington Village East Coast Demerara, Ramchand Latchman 23yrs of No. 65 Village Corentyne Berbice and Rooplall Abrahim 24 of lot 4 Bath Settlement West Coast Berbice.

The suspects are expected to face additional charges for murder and attempted murder.
