BREAKING NEWS: Security guard murdered in suspected robbery

A security guard attached to the Good Luck Supermarket located on Dennis Street, Sophia, was shot this evening (Friday, June 30, 2017).

The man’s name has not yet been disclosed.

He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he succumbed.

The News Room learnt that the police have not been able to confirm if the motive was just a robbery, but we were informed that the security guard’s weapon was stolen in the process.
