Police ranks in Region One, last night (Friday, June 30, 2017) arrested a forty-four year old miner /businessman of Land of Canaan, East Bank Demerara with two and a half dozens of live 9mm ammunition.
Acting on intelligence, about 21:00h, the lawmen went to Port Kaituma Waterfront where the suspect who goes by the alias “Soldier” was contacted and a search of his person revealed the ammunition.
He is being processed for court.
