The body of a security guard was this morning (Thursday, July 06, 2017) found with what appears to be a slit throat, lying in front of the Guyana Post Office Corporation (GPOC) building on Robb Street.
The News Room has been told that the man’s body was discovered by persons who were heading to work on Thursday morning. An alarm was raised and police arrived at the scene shortly after.
The police are conducting their investigations.
The identity of the security guard who is reportedly attached to the “crime Busters” establishment remains unknown at this time.
