The body of the 19-year-old Linden girl, who went missing two days ago, was this afternoon recovered around Titanic Boat Landing in the Demerara River.
Esther Weekes of Lot 14 Burnham Drive, Wismar, Linden reportedly fell into the river while trying to save her cousin.
Both of them were playing at the riverside. Girffith’s cousin fell in first and she reached out to grab him and ended up in the river. The lad was rescued, but Griffith had drifted off.
