Body suspected to be missing labourer washes up on Corentyne shore

Commander of ‘B’ Division, Paul Williams has disclosed that ranks in his division are in receipt of information that the remains of a body has washed up on the Corentyne shore and it is suspected to be that of the Crabwood Creek, East Corentyne, Berbice man who left his home on Saturday to go fishing with friends out in the Corentyne River.

Ranks have since been dispatched to the location to conduct their investigation. The missing father of two has been identified as 52-year-old Karamchand Parbudyal of Grant 1651 Crabwood Creek.

News Room understands that Parbudyal was at home on Saturday when he was visited by three men who asked that he ventured out at sea with them to do fishing. It was after the men returned later that evening, that relatives of the missing man was informed that he was left at a specific location on a river bank and subsequently disappeared.
