Fly Jamaica Airways will this Friday launch regular flights between Guyana and Cuba.
According to the Guyana Embassy in Cuba, FlyJamaica Representative resident in Havana, Mr. Lindbergh Smith met with staff members at the residence of Guyana’s Ambassador to Cuba Mr. Halim Majeed, where he updated them on developments with respect to starting direct flights from Guyana to Cuba.
Mr. Smith explained that FlyJamaica will expect a high quality of service and dedication from their Cuban staff while the airline will provide a safe, comfortable, reliable and punctual service to passengers.
Fly Jamaica will be flying five times a week from various Cuban airports: Havana, Varadero, Santiago de Cuba and Camaguey.
Ambassador Majeed congratulated Mr. Smith and his staff members and wished them success in their endeavours.
FlyJamaica is a Guyanese Company owned by Captain Ronald Paul Reece.
FlyJamaica Airlines currently has offices in Jamaica and Guyana. The new office in Havana will be located at Hotel Commodoro.
