A man was moments ago shot by a so far unknown assailant along New Market Street in the capital City, Georgetown.
According to details emerging, the shooter walked up to his victim and discharged three rounds in his direction. The suspect then ran and entered a waiting taxi with which he used to escape.
It is unclear how many of the three shots hit the victim.
The getaway car was described as a sliver grey Premio which appeared to be carrying a taxi service logo.
