KFC opens new location

With a total of 70 staff, the KFC opened the outlet at Barima Avenue and Vlissengen Road, Georgetown, deemed as its “flagship” location. The restaurant boasts of a drive-thru and will also be offering home-delivery services.

Customer service and standard are major concerns with the opening of local food outlets. However, Training Manager with Beharry restaurant Holdings, Charissa Rampersaud disclosed that there are several ways to ensure that staff maintain a high standard not only in the preparation of the product but also in dealing with customers.

She outlined that persons can lodge complaints with managers at the facility or complete the survey at the bottom of the receipts. Reviews are also encouraged on the entity’s facebook page.

The outlet will be opened from 10 am to 11 pm while the drive-thru will remain open up to 1 am and 4 am on some days. The upper flat of the building will house the company’s corporate offices.

General Manager, Paul Subryan outlined that the second location is as a result of the good response from the public at its first outlet in downtown Georgetown. The company has put security measures in place to ensure the safety of its customers and staff. Beharry Restaurant Holdings currently employs over 100 persons at its two locations.
