A Dartmouth, Essequibo Coast businessman is in police custody following the discovery of cocaine and cannabis at his home on Saturday.
According to a police report, a search was conducted at approximately 17:30hrs and ranks found 1,539 grams of cannabis and 32 grams of cocaine, in several sections of the house and a chicken pen in the yard.
Police said that the 40-year-old trafficker, who was on the police’s radar for quite some time, is expected to be arraigned before a Magistrate tomorrow, in the Essequibo Magisterial District.
