A 55-year-old man, identified as Kennard Craig was crushed to death today while operating a heavy duty machinery at White Hole, Mahdia, Region 8.
News Room understands that Craig of Number # 67 village Corentyne, Berbice was operating a bulldozer when he attempted to climb a small hill, during which the vehicle cut off. Craig, with the help of his co-worker, restarted the bulldozer, which then rolled backwards and trapped the man’s leg. He was pinned under the vehicle and subsequently died. The police are investigating the incident, which occurred around noon.
