Suspected bandit shot

A young man, who is yet to be identified, was moments ago shot dead on the Railway Embankment along the access road which leads to the Giftland Mall.

When News Room arrived at the scene, the man’s body was lying on the roadway. Ranks subsequently picked up the body and placed in the back of a police vehicle to be transported to the hospital.

Meanwhile, News Room was subsequently informed that a businesswoman and her bodyguard were attacked when they stopped at the bus shed on the Railway Embankment Road and Giftland Mall Road to purchase plantain chips

Reports indicate that the bodyguard opened fire, killing the bandit.
