Fire erupts at Queen’s College

A small fire on Wednesday morning began in the Upper sixth classroom of Queen’s College. The fire began in the classroom located on the top floor of the eastern wing at around 08:30 hours.

Information reaching News Room said students saw smoke emanating from one of the room lights and alerted the administration.

The students were then escorted onto the front lawns of the school since the fire evacuation meeting point, the field, is inundated and in a terrible condition.

Fire service arrived at 8:45 hours, currently handling the situation.
