Lethem driver busted with marijuana, cocaine

A 55-year old driver of a minibus of Tabatinga, Lethem was Sunday morning busted with a quantity of marijuana and cocaine.
According to the police, the driver was transporting passengers to Lethem when the vehicle was stopped and searched at a police check point at the Mabura Police Station in Linden.
Police said 24.9 kilograms of cannabis sativa and 200 grams of cocaine were found in the minibus.
The driver was taken into police custody and is assisting with the investigation.
