The body of Clayton Anthony was found Thursday morning, minutes after he reportedly chopped a 39-year-old Berbice policewoman to death.
Anthony was found hanging at the seaside in Trafalgar. Kenesha Sheriff Fraser, who was attached to the Central Police Station in New Amsterdam, was found with her throat slit and several chops about her body at her Number 30 Village, West Coast Berbice home on Thursday morning.
Reports indicate that the suspect lived in the lower flat of the house and the two had an argument prior to the murder. A cutlass was found next to the body. Neighbours reported seeing the suspect fleeing the house with blood-stained clothes and a rope in his possession.
