Four persons are now in custody assisting with the investigation into the murder of two elderly women at their Lot 243 South Road and Albert Street, Georgetown home earlier this week.

Police said that three males and one female were arrested as the investigation continues.

Eight-nine-year-old Constance Fraser and 77-year-old Phylis Caesar were found bound and gagged in their home just after 08:00hrs on Tuesday by church members.

Police cordoned off the crime scene

News Room previously reported that Caesar was the caretaker of the Full Gospel Assembly Church, located opposite the home and also worked at a Private School a short distance away.

Pastor of the Church, Winston McGowan told reporters that he and other church members visited the women on Monday evening and spent some time with them before leaving at about 19:30hrs. It was after noticing that the church building remained closed on Tuesday morning that they ventured to the home to collect the key from Caesar and made the brutal discovery.
