Williams wins Hand-in-Hand 35-lap race

The Hand-in-Hand Insurance 11-race programme came off on Saturday with Geron Williams copping the feature 35-lap School Boys and Invitational race at the inner circuit of the National Park.

Williams won the race, which was organised by national cycling coach Hassan Mohamed, in a time of one hour, 16 minutes, 16 seconds.

Christopher Griffith finished second, followed by Raynauth Jeffrey, Kemuel Moses, Paul DeNobrega and Alonzo Ambrose in that order to round out the top six finishers. 

Other winners included Briton John (Juveniles), Shane Bourne (Mountain Bikes), Kennard Lovell (Veterans Over-50), Warren McKay (Veterans Unedr-50), John Niles (BMX 9-12) and Thuran Garbarran (BMX Boys and Girls 12-14).
