Elderly woman drops dead in Sophia

A woman, whose name is so far unknown, died earlier today after she collapsed in her yard just before entering her front door at ‘B’ Field Sophia.

The News Room understands that the woman, who is mostly reserved, would sometimes snap at persons when she is not in the mood to speak.

When the News Room arrived at the scene, a resident of the community indicated that the woman was observed lying motionless in the grass at approximately 17:00hrs.

It is believed that she collapsed and died there since midday today but no one knew because of the overgrown grass in the yard. Investigations are ongoing.
