The National School Championships will be held in November, but not the original dates that were decided on earlier in the year.
While not a significant shift, the event, which was slated to take place from November 20-24, will now be held from November 26 to December 1, according to sources close to the championships.
While the event will remain at the National Track and Field Centre, Leonora, no reasons were given for the shift in dates.
This is possibly the first time the event will run into the month of December and it will also be the first time that it is held on a synthetic surface. (Treiston Joseph)
