A 44-year-old Cuban National was on Friday sentenced to three years jail by Magistrate Leron Daly after he pleaded guilty to trafficking 0.50 grams of cocaine on October 24, 2017, at Regent Street, Georgetown.

The court heard that on the day in question, Yasiel Vizcaino was observed by ranks on patrol acting in a suspicious manner. He was searched and police found a transparent Ziploc bag with the cocaine inside, concealed in a Bible, which he was carrying at the time.
