19-year-old Ronaldo Jaundoo
The police are investigating the circumstances surrounding an accident at Barr and James Streets, Albouystown, Georgetown on Thursday afternoon, which caused the death of 19-year-old Ronaldo Jaundoo.
According to the Guyana Police Force, Motor Pickup GVV 8249 driven by a 47 year old, was proceeding north on Barr Street, while motor cycle CH 9086 ridden by Jaundoo of West Ruimveldt, Georgetown, was proceeding east on the northern side of James Street, when they collided.
The incident occurred at about 16:30hrs.
Jaundoo was taken to the Georgetown Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival.
A Breathalyzer test was administered on the driver and no alcohol was found. However, he is in custody assisting in this investigation.
