Gold Miner hospitalised after being shot by bandits

A gold miner, who has been identified Peter Chow, was shot and injured by bandits who invaded the home of a hairdresser in East Ruimveldt on Thursday, 09 November 2017.

News Room understands that Chow of Lot 10 Railway Line, Kitty was attacked while lying in a chair awaiting his girlfriend who was having her hair fixed. He was robbed of the gold jewellery he was wearing at the time.

According to information reaching the News Room, Chow and his girlfriend showed up at the wrong house of the hairdresser when they entered the community and shortly after being given directions, the bandits invaded the house.
