Residents living around Georgetown are asked to prepare for a major power outage lasting approximately nine hours this Sunday as the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) Inc. conducts maintenance works.
The interruption of electricity supply will last from 8:00hrs to 17:00hrs in order to facilitate maintenance on the main transmission line linking the Kingston and Sophia Power Stations.

- Sheriff Street
- Subryanville
- Newtown
- Bel Air
- Queenstown
- Alberttown
- Vlissengen Road
- Homestretch Avenue
- Mandela Avenue
- Hadfield Street Lodge
